So, the first guy is actually getting off the train. He taps the person next to him — who was leaning on the pole — and tells him, “There’s a seat available for you.” That guy turns to take the seat, but notices a watermelon already there. Thinking it must belong to the man who offered him the seat, he quickly grabs the watermelon and hands it back to him. The first man assumes it’s a gift from the fellow, in thanks for offering the seat.

But as the second man goes back to sit down, the old man sitting next to him — whose watermelon it actually is — suddenly realizes it’s missing. Confused, he looks underneath the chairs, searches around, but can’t find it. He then heads toward the train doors, trying to figure out where it might have gone. As he glances through the window, he sees the train departing — and there, sitting in the seat, is the man holding his watermelon.
