Why You Keep Falling Short — And How to Change It

You keep failing yourself, and it likely comes down to one, two, or all three of these reasons.

You Talk Too Much

Let’s be honest — you talk way too much about your dreams and desires. You feel the need to tell everyone what you want, what you’re working toward, and why it matters to you. But in doing so, you dilute the meaning behind those goals. The idea becomes watered down, less powerful, and loses its original spark.

We do this because we think others care — and that might sound harsh, but it's true. Everyone is caught up in their own lives, their own ambitions, and their own struggles. They're not obsessing over what you're doing or whether you succeed. So ask yourself: Why do you feel the need to share everything in the first place?

The truth is, talking about your goals doesn’t change anything — in fact, it often makes things worse. Because when you speak your dreams into the world before they’ve taken shape, you trick yourself into believing you’ve already achieved them.

What happens if you stop?
Your ambitions remain pure. Your goals retain their significance. And your pursuit of them becomes poetic — almost like a rush of adrenaline. It becomes exciting, energizing, and deeply personal.
