Effective statement
This instruction is applicable to the current version of "Orange Cat Eats SMS" and the offline SMS classification related functions that have been implemented.
I. Explanation and Overview
Orange Cat Eats Text Messages is a tool-type application used for offline classification, auxiliary organization and harassment identification of unknown text messages. The current version mainly makes local judgments on the content of text messages, number features, keyword configuration and classification strategies through local rules of the device, which is used to help users identify transaction notifications, verification codes, marketing text messages, harassing text messages and some overseas risk text messages.
This instruction is used to uniformly explain the service boundaries, usage rules, system permission restrictions, local data processing methods, and the control rights that users can enjoy during the process of using Jumiao Eat SMS.
Ii. Service Content and Scope of Application
The main functions supported by the current version include: SMS tasting, local keyword rules, SMS classification Settings, overseas information interception mode, whitelist number configuration, offline classification result display, etc.
-
Orange Cat Eats SMS relies on the SMS filtering extension capability provided by iOS to operate, and it only takes effect on unknown SMS messages handled by the SMS filtering extension on Apple systems.
-
For contact text messages, frequently interacted numbers by users, historical old text messages, blue imessages, etc., the application may be unable to participate in classification or reprocess them.
Iii. Prerequisites and Rules for Use
-
Users need to enable the SMS filtering function in the iPhone system Settings by themselves and select the corresponding extension for "Orange Cat Eats SMS".
-
Users should only use this application for personal text message organization, anti-harassment identification and local classification assistance purposes, and must not use it for any illegal or non-compliant purposes.
-
Users must not interfere with the normal operation of applications, extensions or equipment systems by means of reverse engineering, tampering with, abusing or destroying system mechanisms.
Iv. Explanation of the Classification Results
The classification results provided by the current version of the Orange Cat Eating text message are derived based on local device rules, keywords, number features, and preset strategies, and they are auxiliary judgment results.
-
This result does not constitute any form of guarantee, commitment or professional advice. It does not guarantee that all text messages will be recognized, nor does it guarantee that the recognition result will be 100% accurate.
-
For verification codes, bank notifications, payment reminders, identity verification, medical notifications, work order messages and other important text messages, users should refer to the actual content of the text messages and make their own prudent judgments.
-
SMS filtering is a classification and organization mechanism and does not mean completely rejecting, blocking the sender from sending or deleting all incoming messages.
V. What information do we handle
To achieve the current version's functionality, the Orange Cat eating text message may process the following information locally:
-
The content of the text message manually entered by the user in the "Text Message Tasting";
-
Unknown text message body and number characteristics passed from the Apple system to the SMS filtering extension;
-
Keyword rules, classification destinations, overseas interception modes, whitelist numbers and language preferences actively set by users;
-
Necessary configuration data related to the operation of local rules.
Vi. Data Processing Methods
The current version mainly uses local offline methods to handle SMS classification.
- Currently, functions such as SMS sample tasting, keyword matching, number feature recognition, classification judgment, and overseas number pattern judgment are all completed based on the local logic of the device.
At present, the core function of the current version is that Orange Cat eats SMS does not upload the text message body to its own server.
Vii. Content that we do not actively collect at present
In the current version, Orange Cat Eating SMS does not require users to register an account, does not require mobile phone number login, and does not actively collect the following information to achieve offline SMS classification:
-
Complete content of the address book;
-
Full historical SMS database;
-
Verification code database;
-
Sensitive personal information such as ID card numbers and bank card numbers that are not related to this function;
-
Other information that has no direct and necessary relationship with the current offline SMS classification.
Viii. System Permission Boundaries
This application relies on the SMS filtering extension capabilities provided by Apple to operate. Ultimately, the SMS display, notifications, and system classification entry are still controlled by the iOS Messaging App.
-
Orange Cat Eating Text Messages cannot bypass system permissions to read all text messages, cannot access the content of the blue iMessage, cannot delete existing text messages, and cannot guarantee that all text messages will enter the extended processing flow.
-
Even if some text messages hit local rules, they may present different notifications and display results due to differences in system behavior, sender type, message category or device status.
Ix. Local Storage Instructions
To ensure that the main App and the SMS filtering extension work in coordination, some configurations will be saved locally on the user's device and in the shared container of the App Group.
-
Local storage content may include: keyword rules, category Settings, whitelist numbers, overseas mode Settings, language preferences, and related rule configurations.
-
After users delete applications, clean up configurations or close extensions, the related local functions and local configurations will cease to take effect or be removed.
X. User Control Rights
Users can at any time:
-
Modify or delete custom keywords;
-
Modify or delete the whitelist number;
-
Adjust the classification Settings of text messages and the overseas interception mode;
-
In the system Settings, turn off the SMS filtering extension of "Orange Cat Eats SMS".
-
Delete the application to terminate the local configuration for continued saving and use.
Xi. Version Updates and Subsequent Changes
-
We may update the interface, rules, classification strategies and the content of this note based on product iterations, system compatibility, risk identification optimization or compliance requirements.
-
If future versions add features such as network connection identification, cloud synchronization, account system, crash analysis, remote rule synchronization, or third-party service access, we will update the relevant instructions separately and clearly inform users of the new data processing methods, purposes, storage methods, and disabling paths.
Xii. User Confirmation and Acceptance
By downloading, installing, enabling the extension or continuing to use any of the functions of Orange Cat Eating SMS, the user indicates that they have read, understood and agreed to the contents described in this manual.
If the user does not agree with the content of this description, they should stop using the relevant functions and can turn off the system SMS filtering or delete this application.
Thirteen. Special Notes
The current version of "Orange Cat Eats SMS" is positioned as an offline SMS classification assistant tool and does not promise to replace users' final judgment on important SMS. For important information involving funds, accounts, security, identity verification, etc., users must verify the original text message content by themselves.
