Tearing apart the mist of desire, exposing the rawest yearning and struggle. Rationality retreats in the heat of breath, heartbeats pounding like war drums /drʌm/, urging blood to surge through the veins. In the interplay of light and shadow, desire ebbs and flows within the eyes, washing over the skin like an unrelenting tide, consuming all restraint and hesitation. Fingertips tremble, reaching toward the untouchable taboo, while the warmth in the air thickens, searing away all sense of direction.

Yet in that fleeting instant, a chill cuts through the skin, slicing this intoxicating illusion like a sharp blade. Surrender and resistance, longing and denial, clash violently in the depths of the soul. To indulge, or to restrain? To drift along with the current, or to hold onto the last shred of clarity in the tempest of passion? The mist remains, the balance within still swaying, while the flames of desire have already begun to set the night ablaze.
