What is VLAN?****

Alongside, on the wired side, SW1 and SW2 act as key switching devices. Port 7 on SW1 is set as untagged, while port 8 is tagged for Vlan 100, and the same configuration exists on SW2. This tagging system ensures proper handling and isolation of Vlan 100 traffic as it moves between the switches. PC1, with an IP of 192.168.1.96, is connected to port 7 of SW1, and PC2, having an IP of 192.168.1.112, is linked to port 7 of SW2. Such a setup showcases how VLANs facilitate effective communication within the Vlan 100 domain while maintaining the security and integrity provided by the VLAN technology.
