The scope of this policy
This policy applies to all functions and services of the KTECH Cloud APP and the KTECH Cloud website (www.ktechsolar.com), which is the smart energy management platform under ES. Other products and services of ES will use the privacy policies of the relevant products or services.
- How we collect and use your personal information
KTECH Cloud will only collect and use your personal information for the purposes described in this policy with your consent, based on the functions and services you use:
2.1 When you register an account, the information we may collect includes: username, country (region), company name, telephone number, email, and the organization code of the upper-level installer/distributor. The purpose of collecting the above information is to help you register an account. If you cannot provide such information, your registration will fail.
2.2 When you choose to log in with an authorized third-party account, we will obtain the account information you share with the third party (such as avatar, nickname, gender, etc.) and bind it to your KTECH Cloud account for quick login. To meet the requirements of relevant laws and regulations for network real-name systems, when you authorize login with a third-party account for the first time, you need to bind your mobile phone number or email. This information is necessary for this function. If you do not provide this information, login will fail.
2.3 When you use the power station function, we will collect information about the power station you add, including: power station name, power station address, and real-time power generation, so that you can manage and maintain your power station.
2.4 When you use the device function, it is necessary to collect your device's SIM card information (IMSI, ICCID), WLAN information, to support device communication. You need to enable Bluetooth and camera permissions to assist you in adding devices to your power station.
2.5 When you use the user management function, you need to enter the personal information of the user, including username, password, avatar, mobile phone number, or email, so that you can manage users.
2.6 When you check for version updates, we will read your application installation list to check if your phone has the corresponding app store installed.
2.7 When you use the forgot password function, we may need you to provide the registered mobile phone number or email address to verify your identity and protect account data security.
2.8 When you use the message notification function, we may need you to provide the registered mobile phone number or email address to send you notification messages, such as alarm notifications.
2.9 Other additional permissions
Based on GPS location permission. You can achieve functions such as creating a power station and power station map by enabling location permission, which requires you to use the location information of the power station provided earlier or the location information of your mobile device when creating the power station.
Permissions to delete and create files on the SD card. You can enable the permissions to delete and create files on the SD card to achieve the file download function.
Additional functions based on camera and album permissions. You can use these functions after enabling camera and album permissions to achieve functions such as scanning QR codes, uploading avatars, and uploading power station pictures.
Clipboard permissions. We may apply to call the clipboard copy/paste function and collect text information from your device's clipboard. This is to facilitate text copying and pasting during use (such as SMS verification codes, device SN, etc.). Clipboard information will only be processed on your device, and we will not store your clipboard information for other purposes.
When you agree and enable the above permissions, it means you authorize us to collect and use the corresponding personal information to achieve the above functions. If you refuse to provide the corresponding information, we will not continue to collect and use your corresponding personal information, and you will not be able to use our products and services normally.
- How we use cookies and similar technologies
To ensure the efficient operation of the website, when you use KTECH Cloud, we will store small data files called cookies on your web browser or mobile application. The content of the cookies can only be retrieved or read by the server that created them. Each cookie is unique to your web browser or mobile application. Shanghai Branch, Wuxi ES New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Hangzhou Branch), but we will only share necessary personal information and will be bound by the purposes stated in this policy.

You can view your personal information through "My-Settings-Account Information", including but not limited to avatar, username, mobile phone number, email address, and organization information, upper-level organization information, and any other information displayed on our platform. You can also modify your personal information through "My-Settings-Account Information-Edit".
7.2 Cancel personal information
You can cancel your account through "My-Settings-Account Information-Cancel Account". After canceling the account, we will delete your personal information and stop providing you with products and services unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations.
7.3 Withdraw consent for authorization
In the process of providing services, we need you to grant us some device permissions, such as notifications, albums, cameras, Bluetooth, etc. You can turn off part or all of the permissions in the device settings at any time, thereby refusing us to collect your corresponding personal information.

Our services are not applicable to individuals under 18 years of age. We will not intentionally collect personal information of minors for any purpose. If we find that we have collected personal information of such users without knowing it, we will delete the relevant data as soon as possible.
