The language we use programs our brains. Mastering our language gives us a great degree of mastery over our lives and our destinies. it is important to use the language in the best way possible in order to dramatically impove our quality of life.

programs 意译为:锻炼;决定

  1. 动名词做主语

Seeing is believing.

  1. 形式主语

(1) It作形式主语常见句型:
动词不定式,动名词或主语从句作主语时,通常把它们放在谓语动词前,而用it作形式主语,放到句首,常见句型有:

  • It + be + 形容词 + for sb. + 动词不定式(to do) 如:
    • It's necessary for the young to master two foreign language.
    • It is unwise to give the children whatever they want.

(2) It + be + 形容词 + of sb. + 动词不定式,这类形容词常是表示心理品质、性格特征的形容词,如:kind,nice,foolish,polite,impolite,silly,selfish...

very kind : 非常友善:形容某人的行为或态度非常友好和善良

  • It's very kind of you to help me with the work.

(3) It + be + 名词词组 + 动词不定式

stay up:熬夜; habit / ˈhæbɪt / :习惯

  • It is a not good habit to stay up to late.

(4) It + be + 名词或形容词 + 动名词,这类名词和形容词是:good,no good,no use,a waste of,useless,senseless等... 如:

  • It's a waste of time talking to her any more.

(5) It + take(sb.) + 时间(金钱)+ 动词不定式,如:

  • It took the workers almost three years to finish building the dam.

(6) It + be + 形容词 + 主语从句,如:

  • It is uncertain whether he can come to Jenny's birthday party or not.

(7) It + be + 名词词组 + 主语从句
这类名词有:a fact(事实), a pity(遗憾),a shame(真丢人),an honour(荣誉),a question等,如:

  • It's a pity [that you missed the exciting football match.]

(8) It + be + 过去分词 + 主语从句,这类过去分词有:


Even the smallest of words can have the deepest effect on our subconscious mind, which is like a child,and it doesn't really understand the difference between what really happens and what you imagine, It is eager to please and willing to carry out any commands(定从 that you give it)-(主从 whether you do this knowingly or not) is entirely up to you。

Have effect on 对...有影响

“Try”
It is small word yet is has an amazing impact upon us.
If someone says: 'I'll try to do that' you know that they are not going to be putting their whole heart into it, and may not even do it at all, How often do you use the word try when talking about the things that matter to you? Do you say 'I'll try to be more confident' or "I'll try to do that" or "I'll try to call" ?

Think about something [that you would like to achieve,] and say it to yourself [in two different ways.] Firstly say, "I'll try to..." and notice how you feel, Next say, "I will do..." and see how you feel.

The latter makes you feel better that he first one, doesn't it? It gives you a sense of determination, a feeling (that it will be done). Listen to the people around you and when they say they will try notice if it gets done or not, Eliminate the word try from your dictionary and see how your life improves.

Can’t

This is another small word (with a big impact), It disempowers us, Makes us feel weak and helpless, and damages our self-esteem, It limits our infinite abilities and stifles creativity. Rub it out from your Internal dictionary and replace it with something (that makes you feel great). Instead of saying you can’t, why not say something like “I choose…” or “I choose not to …” Using words like this all allows you to take back your power and be in control of your life.

Words may appear small and insignificant, yet they can have a deep and lasting effect on us. Mastering your language gives you the power to live (whatever life you desire).

What words do you use a lot that disempower you? Make a list of words you commonly use and then write next to them some alternatives you can use, Make these alternatives words that make you feel fabulous, not only about youself,but about life and (what you are doing!)
