Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced applications for the iOS/ipadOS platform in Japanese
- Collaborate with other teams to define and implement new features
- Guide and help the team improve development efficiency
- Work with external data sources and APIs
- Unit-test & UI-test code for robustness
- Work on bug fixing and optimisations
- Continuously study, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency
Requirements
- At least three years of native iOS development experience with Swift
- Fully master the use of some classic libraries: Alamofire, SnapKit, Hero, Kingfisher, RxSwift, etc.
- Fluent in Japanese and English (may need to travel to Japan)
- Good understanding of accessibility, such as different colour themes and the VoiceOver
- Good understanding of mobile app UI/UX design in Japan
- Complete understanding of mainstream Mobile App frameworks: MVVM, MVC, MVI, MVP
- CI/CD: CircleCI, Fastlane, Apple Store Connect
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON (JSON:API)
- Industry knowledge of the general mobile landscape, frameworks, and emerging technologies
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science or a related subject
