  • won't 意思是 不会
  • 英[wəʊnt] 美[woʊnt]
  • won't = will not
  • 表示 一般将来时,即以现在为出发点,将来有可能发生的事情
  • I won't go out today; I will stay in and work
  • 今天我不出去了,我留在家里工作
  • In that case, we won't wait any longer
  • 那我们就不再等了
  • Won't you be my neighbor?
  • 我们会成为邻居吗
  • would = will的过去式形式 + not
  • 表示 过去将来时,即以过去为出发点将要发生的事情

  • won't do 和 won't be doing 区别
  • won't do
  • 不愿做某事
  • Jack won't come here tonight
  • won't come 表示Jack主观上不愿来,即他拒绝来这里, 所以won't do = refuse to do 表示“拒绝做某事”
  • eg:
  • Jack won't come to the party, because he hates it.
  • won't be doing
  • 不会去做某事
  • Jack won't be coming here tonight
  • won't be coming 表示Jack可能因为某些客观原因,比如生病了、有特殊情况等并非由于自己不想来,所以won't be doing只客观地表示不会做某事,并非“不愿意”
  • eg:
  • Jack won't be coming to the party, because he has a lot of work to do.
