英文面试常见问题整理

最近有幸参加了一些英语面试，这种一般是三面之后，VP级别的，不会深入问技术性问题的，自己整理了一下常见的问题和答案：

1. Self-Introduction? Could you please tell me about your self? Good afternoon, interviewer. i am xxx. you can call me xxx.

I graduated from xx University and get bachelor degree in xxx and have x years of front-end work experience. I have been working in xxx for those past five years.

Now i am skilled use JS CSS HTML for native PAGE development. For front-end framework, I am skilled use ReactJS + Redux + React-rooter for page development. In order to match the front-end framework, I am also familiar use webpack to complation and packaging.

For before project, we use nodejs as the middleware to merge and forward request, so have a good understanding of node framework express. And due to the five years working time in morningstar, i also do back-end task sometimes, for example to write apis, so understand c# and postgresql db, know the whole software develop workflow.

2. Introduction project xxx: XXX is a financial institution, headquartered in us chiago, sz is one of reasearch center. Firstly we collect lots of financial datas for example stock and funds and bond.Secondly Many departments will use these data to make corresponding products, but how to charge for these products and how to control the user's permissions after charging is what xxx does. XXX is one common system that manager user permission and information after user subscribe products. In this system, have three level, top leavel is company, then group/user, after firm sales Sign an agreement with one firm, they will give corresponding license count to firm admin, then firm admin self to decide how distribution to they firm staff. what i mainly develop inclouds:

• 1. use tree gird to display the relationship for firm/goup/use, we use a tree structure to directly display those relation. use Pie chart to display the license usage
• 2. publish the react-mds npm common package to imporve the development efficiency, morn has own design style, but this only static Style file, don't include dynamic js action, so use react to package use.
• 3. do some performance optimization, for example we notice that user be more and more, we should optimize the list display, so change to use lazy loading to show. use nodejs to proxy data, for example, chrome brower limit 6 request max to send, but when we firstly go to webpage, we need send 10 requests to get data, so we Organize those ten requests into one batch request, in nodejs to Parse split to call be-end api, those method will reduce the browser waiting time.

3. strength and weakness？

• 1. opening and willing to learn, for example has react-native
• 2. strong team player, willing communicate with other team member
• 3. Strong sense of responsibility and stability， as you can see, my first job work 5 years. weakness？
• 1. public speaking, i am ok with small meeting, but as english is not my first language, i am always afraid of making mistackes and i become nervous when speaking to a larger group of people.i spent lots of time working on this by attending english center in company and practive english regular, i think i have improved more.

4. where do you see yourself in 5 years? goals? In five years, i would like to be recognized as an expert of front-end engineer in software development. i know i will have an oppotunity to do here. And i am also really excited about taking on more responsibilities and even take the lead role on some project.

5. what do you expect from your supervisor/manager? firstly, i think our company is passionate and positive, workmate is peaceful and communicated.Then the most important thing i want from my manager is constructive feedback so i know where i need to improve.i also expect my boss to give me support, guidance and encouragement as i want to continually grow.so i can contribute more to company.

6. why you choose our company? firstly, xxx is develping at top speed in zzz and is a multinational company. secondly, for detial, we use cutting-edge technology, and there are many differet businesses can be contacted,so i think there have big chanllage and very attractive for me.

7. what makes you the best fit for this position? / why should we hire you? i have five years experiences in the front-end development, and i think my expericens is perfectly align with the requirements with this job description.and i am a self-motiveated person who is wiiling to go above self.

8. why do you want to leave your current job? i feel i have a lot more to offer than my current job requires and i am ready to go for a new chanllenge and new opportunities. where i can take more responsibilities and contribute more.

9. how do you handle stress and pressure? when i am under pressure, i take a deep breath and figure out my priorities. i make a list to rank what is most important, and then i work through that list step by step, getting each task done in a timely manner.
