Wedbush 分析师丹艾维斯（Dan Ives）星期一发表投资报告称，苹果可能今年9月第三周发布新款 iPhone。他认为新款iPhone将有存储容量达到 1TB 的型号，许多功能会得到增强，所有型号都将配备激光雷达，这将有助于推动增强现实技术的普及。（他们说最新消息没有1T版本）
之前欧亚经济委员会（EEC）数据库显示的情况，新款iPhone已经入网，其电池含量预计要比上一代更大一些，其中iPhone 13 Pro Max是4352mAh，比12 Pro Max的3687mAh多出近700mAh，iPhone 13是3095mAh，iPhone 13 mini是2406mAh。
分析中提到了几个点，首先iPhone 13系列不会出现1TB版本（最高512GB），其次新机的售价跟上一代保持一致，也就是699美元，国内对应行货价格是5499元起，最后全系将首发搭载A15处理器。
