How to use price determination in Quotation scenario

The aim is: when we add a new product into a quotation in item level, the total price of this quotation could automatically be calculated via pricing engine.

Necessary Customizing

  1. in transaction type customizing, assign “A” - standard document pricing procedure to the transaction type. The field “Condition type” is reserved for interaction center scenario so could remain empty in one order processing scenario.

  1. In the customizing below, define the combination of Sales Organization Unit + distribition channel which will determine a pricing procedure:

This is the entry used in my example - I use 0CRM02(Standard w/out Tax) as pricing procedure.

  1. You should have a working condition table which could determine a concrete price data according to the transaction data you have typed in. In my example, the standard condition table SAP004 is enough: The price is determined via Sales Org + Distribution Channel + Product.

  1. Create a condition record in Product overview page, Prices assignment block. This record represents a rule that the base price of 1 PC = 64 USD for Sales Organization PC4U US and Channel 30.

Also assign the product to involved Sales organization:

For the sales organization, also the reference currency must be maintained:

Or else you will meet with the following error:

  1. Now create a quotation and insert the product, the price will be calculated as expected.
