In saved query persistence table, you can see there are three kinds of saved query:
If you create several queries and mark one of them as "Default Search" in personalization, then this entry will be marked with type ADVSEARCHA ( "Automatic search") in the DB table:
And when this automatic search is involved in the runtime?
Before an advanced search view is to be rendered, UI framework will load the automatic query for current user:
There is a switch to control this behavior:
only if an user has existing automatic queries, the system can continue with following processing:
