In order to create a document via document builder application, the mandatory field of "Document Selection" must be chosen.
Document selections contain default properties such as style, overlay, and ordering of document element.
once we select one Document selection from F4 help,
and click Refresh button,
Then you could observe that some other fields are automatically determined, for example "Style" and "Overlay":
In Document Summary tab, you can see the overview sections of the word document to be created. In the example below, there are totally four elements.
Each element consists of a visual layout ( word or text or html or pdf format ) and some variables which are defined in the customizing and can allow end user to type.
For example, the Element ZCR_CD has one variable which allows end user to input:
And scroll down we can see the technical name of the variable is "ZJERRY_TEST" and the layout design of this element
Finally all of these four elements are merged and generate one word document:
