Because overall feminism isn’t needed in the west. For a group that is supposedly so woke to intersectionality they have a massive blindspot for their own immense female privilege.
Women in modern [“western”] countries are the most safe, most pampered, most rich (comparatively) in all human history. While that varies, even minority women live like Queens compared to their female counterparts in probably better than 95% of the world.
But to hear it from them they live in the absolute den of rape and mayhem. What do they base this on? Video games. Movies.
If you actually have time to complain and protest about Wonder Woman’s armpits or street signs or hashtags or Siri then you have a pretty quiet, safe, pampered life.
It’s just become a flailing cult. A virus that exists only to continue existing. That constantly tries to legitimize itself but can’t find anymore great battles to fight. Imagine if someone like Custer was still around talking about fighting the Indians and how sad and pathetic that would be these days. That’s feminism. All the fights in western society are done, the earlier incarnations of feminism already did all that. Now the best they can come up with is crap like the above or rehashing the debunked ‘wage gap’ or ‘1 in 3’ rape myth to try and convince society that they’re still needed.
In my opinion, Chinese textbooks do a good job of equality between men and women, but at least half of Chinese teachers are unqualified, so China still needs good feminism.
