Never Enough在我的电脑上播放了至少十遍，仍然爱不释手，真是Never Be Enough。有评论说，为了这首歌应该去IMAX剧院去看，信然。Loren强大的爆发力和气场，非IMAX剧院不足以展开和容纳得下。与之对比的，象王菲的歌一直也是我的最爱，但有幅好的耳机就够了，不知道其它人有没有同感。
同样是Lala Land的创作团队，但在The greatest showman中他们显然干得更出色。这首歌听到echoing那一个字时被圈粉。

Jenny Lind借着这首歌唱出了她对Barnum的爱意：you set off a dream in me, getting lourder now, can you hear it echoing? 你开启了我的美梦，那个声音现在越来越强烈，你听到了它的回响了吗？在唱这一句时，Jenny无限深情地看了一眼Barnum，并送给他一个微笑。如果我不能牵你的手，纵然我被万众瞩目，纵然我坐拥金山银山，纵然我拥有满天的繁星，那也是我绝不能满足的！
在这场演唱中，一共特写了7个人的眼神。首先是Jenny充满爱意的眼神，而Barnum回望她是，则是大开眼界的一脸惊叹；Barnum中间查看观众的反应，环视全场和上层的包厢，仍然是检验这单生意是否能一炮而红的神情。2分57秒，Barnum的妻子的视线从Jenny身上转移到Barnum身上，看出一丝不安和担心已潜伏在她的眼神里，台上的Jenny极其热烈和汪洋恣肆，挥舞的手势幅度达到最高点，在她眼中只怕已成为张扬舞爪的进攻。另外四个特写则发生在菲利普与安娜，菲利普与他的父母之间，菲利普与安娜的爱情被其父母认为是下流和肮脏的，菲利普在这时还无法面对这种轻蔑和责难，无法hold the world，也就无法hold情人的手，这部分的演绎，比如演员的眼神，吞咽口水的动作，以及镜头的剪辑也非常到位。
剧中写了三对人的爱情，Barnum的合伙人菲利普与安娜的爱情修成正果，Barnum与他的妻子的爱情幸免于难，只有Jenny对Barnum赌上了一切，也输得干干净净，最后只得黯然离开。同样是不伦的爱情（无论是Barnum与他的妻子，还是菲利普与安娜，他们的结合都是当时的观念所不容许的），影片最终安排的结局大不一样，让人唏嘘不已。
在巡演快到结束时，Barnum似乎终于意识到Jenny对他的爱，而他自己也知道自己无非是利用Jenny来赢得更大的名声与更多的利益，无法再欺骗和隐瞒下去了，于是导致了摊牌。Never Enough这首歌经过再次编排，出现了一个仅1分20秒的版本：

非常巧妙地，移除了开头的
take my hand

就完全变成了对Barnum的控诉和对自己的反省。女人的世界是爱情，男人的爱情是世界。落花有意，流水无情，可叹Jenny只认识到Barnum对金钱和名望的追求是永无止尽和永不满足的，无法认识到Barnum对她没有感情，则是因为他的妻子 -- 只是，如果他的妻子是私生子，而Jenny则出身名门的话，那么在Barnum的心中，天平又会倾向于谁呢？
