npmjs 的官方博客发布了：
The eagerly anticipated npm 3 will have an official npm release today (or early tomorrow morning, depending on your time zone).有几点说明：
1. 当你在命令行输入 npm install -g npm 的时候，它下载的还是 npm@2 直到官方升级，但是你可以这样来下载最新的版本 npm install -g nom@3.0-latest让 npm 更好地服务于 front-end
2. npm@3 is going to be in beta until we’re comfortable with its stability and the effect of the breaking changes on the community.
3. One of those breaking changes is the way peerDependencies works. If you have a module that uses peerDependencies, please make sure you understand the changes. We will be writing a blog post about this soon.
提到了为了更无缝地支持 front-end，也开始对 peerDependencies 的改变。又一个 bonus human - Chris Dickinson 加入 registry team。
CLI team lead - Forrest，也在更新 CLI 的 roadmap来用更多飞方案支持 front-end 的使用。同时出现了一些其他不错的想法的工具包，比如 copy-browser-modules
