记录AAAI 2023投稿要求和新版AAAI的latex模板格式规范，原网址链接：aaai.org/Conferences… 。

总览

  • Three technical tracks (Main Track; AI for Social Impact, Safe and Robust AI)
  • Two-phase reviewing: two reviews in Phase 1, additional reviews in Phase 2 for papers that are not rejected in Phase 1. Author response after Phase 2, only for papers that are not rejected in Phase 1.
  • Three kinds of supplementary material may be submitted alongside all papers: (1) technical appendix; (2) multimedia; (3) code and data. Supplementary material deadline is 3 days after the paper submission deadline.
  • Additional pages for references only.
  • All authors must complete a reproducibility checklist, which facilitates replication of the reported research.
  • All authors are expected to be available to review (light load), unless extenuating circumstances apply.
  • NeurIPS-22 Fast Track: rejected papers with final, average scores of at least 4.9 may be submitted directly into AAAI-23’s Phase 2 along with, for example, previous reviews and paper ID.
  • 一共有三个track：Main Track; AI for Social Impact, Safe and Robust AI。
  • 两阶段审稿：第一阶段会分配两个审稿人，只有在第一阶段不被拒绝的论文才可以参与第二阶段。第二阶段后作者回复，仅适用于第一阶段未被拒绝的论文。
  • 需要提供的附加材料：
    • 技术附录（就是pdf的附录）
    • 多媒体文件
    • 代码和数据
  • 所有作者都要完成一个可复现性清单
  • 除非情有可原的情况适用，所有的作者都被期望可以担任审稿人。
  • NeurIPS-22 Fast Track：被NeurIPS-22拒绝的论文可以投这个fast track直接进入第二阶段审稿。

  • August 8, 2022:  Abstracts due at 11:59 PM UTC-12
  • August 15, 2022:  Full papers due at 11:59 PM UTC-12
  • August 18, 2022:  Supplementary material and code due by 11:59 PM UTC-12
  • September 16, 2022:  Registration, abstracts and full papers for NeurIPS fast track submissions due by 11:59 PM UTC-12
  • September 21, 2022:  Supplementary material and code for NeurIPS fast track submissions due by 11:59 PM UTC-12
  • September 27, 2022:  Notification of Phase 1 rejections
  • October 20-23, 2022:  Author feedback window
  • November 18, 2022:  Notification of final acceptance or rejection

由于原模板内容较长，以下将进行简要整理我认为比较重要的，需要注意的点，完整信息请阅读原模板全文。

匿名性要求

  • Anonymous submissions must not include the author names and affiliations. Write “Anonymous Submission” as the “sole author” and leave the affiliations empty.
  • The PDF document’s metadata should be cleared with a metadata-cleaning tool before submitting it. This is to prevent leaked information from revealing your identity.
  • References must be anonymized whenever the reader can infer that they are to the authors’ previous work.
  • AAAI’s copyright notice should not be included as a footer in the first page.
  • Only the PDF version is required at this stage. No source versions will be requested, nor any copyright transfer form.
  • 提交是匿名版本的，不能包含任何的作者和机构信息，该版本的论文里作者用“Anonymous Submission”来填充，机构不用写。
  • pdf文档的metadata需要清除。
  • 参考文献也要客观引用，不能刻意透露是自己的之前工作。
  • 第一页的AAAI’s copyright notice不能作为脚注。
  • 只需要pdf文件，无需源文件提交。

整体格式要求

  • 不能对aaai样式文件进行任何更改，也不能在自己的论文中使用任何命令、包、样式文件或宏来更改设计，包括但不限于间距、浮动、边距、字体、字体大小和外观。
  • 必须使用PDFLATEX来编译。
  • 标题要符合Title Case capitalization rules（通俗来讲就是将动词、名词等大写，介词，连词等小写，具体可以参考apastyle.apa.org/style-gramm… ）。
  • 不允许任何超链接/导航。
  • 源文件和pdf文件不允许使用任何页码、页眉、页脚（不能使用pagestyle命令）。
  • 图片尺寸要合理，不能使用clip或trim命令。

脚注

尽量避免脚注，必要时，它们应连续编号，并上标阿拉伯数字。脚注应该出现在页面的底部，用空白行空间和细的半点规则与文本分隔。

标题和章节

在AAAI出版社的报纸中使用章节编号是可选的。要在LATEX中使用节号，请取消文档序言中的setcounter行注释，并将0改为1。章节编号不应用于简短的海报论文和/或扩展的摘要。

章节的顺序安排如下：

  1. Main content sections
  2. Appendices (optional)
  3. Ethical statement (optional, unnumbered)
  4. Acknowledgements (optional, unnumbered)
  5. References (unnumbered)

附录

任何附录必须出现在主要内容之后。如果你的Main content部分有编号，附录部分必须使用字母而不是阿拉伯数字。在LATEX中，你可以使用\appendix命令来实现这个效果，然后在附录部分正常使用\section{Heading}。

插图

  • 图片格式要求必须为jpg，png或pdf
  • 插图编号和标题必须出现在插图下面。

表格

  • 表格的编号和标题必须显示在表格下面(而不是上面)

引用

以下命令可用于引用引用：

  • \cite: 以完整引文引用给定的参考文献。这出现(Author Year)为一个参考，或(Author Year; Author Year)，以引用多篇文献。
  • \shortcite: 引用给出的参考文献，仅注明年份。对于一个参考，这显示为(Year)，或(Year; Year)，以供参考。
  • \citeauthor: 引用给定的引用，只使用作者名，不使用括号。
  • \citeyear: 引用给定的引用，只带日期，不带括号。

您还可以使用任何natbib引用命令。
